Drag Me To Hell is easily one of the year's best movies

So I didn’t write about Drag Me To Hell when I saw it but I definitely it thought it was one of the best movies of the year and probably the must fun I had in the theater as well. The scares are fun and unconventional, the story moves along by fulfilling expectations in unexpected ways, and it’s funny. But most importantly, I thought the romance between Alison Lohman and Justin Long is one of the best ever captured on screen. They’re great together. They’re wonderful people. You want them to be happy. And it makes the thrills and drama that much more potent.

Now that I’ve read this article that theorizes that it was more than just a campy horror movie but actually the story of an anorexic girl’s disturbed hallucinations as she starves herself to death, I have to hold it in even higher esteem. This movie is Raimi’s masterpiece.
